The Taegeuk

The Taegeuk represents  the cosmos, all of creation. Within the unity of the circle, the Um & Yang mix. Opposite yet complementary forces dance, always in motion.

There are forces of light and dark, up and down, good and evil, coming and going. We see these things in the change of seasons, the movement of the tides, and the motions that make up our poomsae.
